Actor and TV host Sahir Lodhi proposed a solution to Pakistan’s water and electricity shortage, stating that, if entrusted with the responsibility, he could resolve these pressing issues within a few months.
Appearing visibly frustrated during his program on a private TV channel, Lodhi expressed anger over the country's deteriorating state, with no end in sight to the struggles of fulfilling essential needs.
“I’ll pick engineers from the country, and I’ll solve Pakistan's two biggest problems, water and electricity,” he asserted.
He suggested the establishment of a commission to oversee funds.
“The government can create a commission that holds the funds, where my team and I decide how and where they should be spent,” he explained.

The participant, while answering a question, ‘blamed’ Jinnah for problems in Pakistan. The remarks were taken lightly by most of the audience and attendees of the show, however, Sahir Lodhi was not impressed at all. He quickly asked the audience to stop clapping and laughing, and started lecturing everyone about the services of Jinnah for the freedom and wellbeing of the nation.
