NEWS ++ EMOP Opening Days | 27.02.-02.03.2025
This year’s edition of the EMOP Berlin photo festival begins with the EMOP Opening Days from February 27 to March 2, 2025 – a month dedicated entirely to photography. For three days, EMOP Berlin invites you to the festival center in the Akademie der Künste at the Hanseatenweg location for an extensive program that not only impresses with two central exhibitions, but also offers the opportunity to enter into an intensive exchange about the current discourses surrounding the medium of photography through various formats. The EMOP Opening Days start with the official opening of the central festival exhibition was zwischen uns steht. Photography as a Medium of Chronicle, which will be shown together with the exhibition A Village 1950-2022: Ute Mahler, Werner Mahler and Ludwig Schirmer in the Festival Center.
