    Neumann studied media studies at TU Ilmenau from 2002 until 2007 and political science and media studies at Free University of Berlin from 2008 until 2012.[3] During her studies, she spent a year abroad at Ateneo dem Manila University from 2004 until 2005.

    Neumann worked as legislative assistant to Tom Koenigs (2013-2014) and as ledare of personal to Omid Nouripour (2014-2016) in the German Bundestag.[4] From 2018 until 2019, she was an associate fellow at the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP).[citation needed]

    Fellowship of the Australian Academy of Science and Fellowship of the Australian College of Education are formal recognition of Hanna Neumann's impact on a country she had first set foot in only in August 1963. But then Hanna Neumann was a remarkable person. Throughout her life she had won the love and respect of many people. The extent of this can not really be measured, however some indications can be given. A memorial meeting held in Canberra overflowed a large lecture theatre even though it was virtually vacation time.     Biography

    Hanna Neumann was given the name Johanna von Caemmerer but was always known as Hanna. Her father, Hermann Konrad von Caemmerer, would have been a Prussian officer had he followed the family tradition but, instead, became a historian. He was awarded a doctorate and, in 1901, received his venia legendi(right to lecture). He married Katharina Elisabeth Jordan and they had three children; Hanna was the youngest of the children having an older brother Ernst (born 1908) and a sister Dora (born 1910). Hermann von Caemmerer made an excellent beginning to his academic career but, tragically, was killed in 1914 in the first days of World War I. In addition to the sadness
