    The seventh season of the Pune Fashion Week came to a roaring end on Sunday, 24th December. The three-day extravaganza was high on luxury, elegance, and grandeur and was attended by the crème de la crème of the city

    The Luxury Expo was all about opulence and glamour. It showcased luxury fashion trends and curated the best of luxury, fashion, and lifestyle, making it an élan experience. The Fashionable Bharat Pavilion at the Luxury Expo was one of the key highlights of the fashion week, which was a platform for handicrafts, Indian indigenous products and traditional textiles from all over the country, to broaden its horizons and truly capture the essence of Bharat. The concept was much appreciated by all.

    Though on her maiden trip to Banaras, actor Pushtiie Shiv Shakti, of 'Mahi Way' fame, says, "It seemed like homecoming. It was mainly the temples, ghats and some lanes which I visited, but there was a sense of familiarity with the place. It appeared as if I am walking in the backyard of my home. A friend of mine, who has studied in Banaras and had accompanied me, said 'do you realise that the way you are moving about in the city is as if you own this place'.Even I felt that way. Mujhe aisa lag raha tha ki main bachpan se aise karti aa rahi hoon.I was not myself for the next three days which I spent in the city. The kind of energy which I felt was amazing. Mujhe aisa lag raha hai ki Banaras aa ke mein reboot ho gayee hoon."

    For the past 25 years The American Pavilion has offered opportunities in Cannes to rulle students from around the world. The 2014 framträdande Filmmaker Showcase will provide an opportunity for ung filmmakers to have their works seen by Cannes Festival and Film marknad attendees. Prizes have been awarded to winning filmmakers in each category and the top twenty-one films will be screened in a special “Emerging Filmmaker” showcase at The American Pavilion in Cannes.
