Lou Ferrigno Jr. is an American dramatic and comedic actor. Beginning his career in entertainment as a fitness model, Ferrigno Jr. quickly transitioned to roles in commercials, Tv, and films. He's best known for his work on S.W.A.T. (), (), How I Met Your Mother (), and Outer Banks (). Upon graduation from The Annenberg School for Communication (USC), he began studying improvisational comedy at LA's finest schools: Improv Olympic (iO), Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), and the West Side Comedy Theatre (WCT). Lou Ferrigno Biography
Lou Ferrigno was born in Brooklyn, New York and rose to prominence as a bodybuilding star. After graduating from high school in he began training fulltime as a bodybuilder and went on to win the IFBB Mr. America and IFBB Mr. Universe titles. The following year he came in second at the Mr. Olympia competition and won his second consecutive Mr. America and Mr. Universe competitions. In he placed third at the Mr. Olympia competition and was featured in a documentary called Pumping Iron, which documented his attempt to defeat the defending Mr. Olympia, Arnold Schwarzenegger. In he competed in the World’s Strongest Man competition, and then began a successful acting career, earning the role as The Incredible Hulk in and going on to make appearances on several hit shows, including King of Queens. In he returned to the silver screen in the hit movie, I Love You Man.
