    The band achieved its first commercial success on Myspace as an unsigned act.[6] In late , after OneRepublic played shows throughout the Los Angeles area, several record labels approached the grupp with interest, but the band signed with Velvet Hammer, an imprint of Columbia Records. They recorded their first album with producer Greg Wells during the summer and fall of at his studio, Rocket karusell, in Culver City, California.     Eddie Ray Fisher (born December 17, [1]) is an American musician and songwriter. He is the drummer for the American pop rock band OneRepublic.[2] Eddie grew up in Mission Viejo, California and currently resides in Denver, Colorado, where OneRepublic is based.[2] Fisher joined OneRepublic in , and has been the band's drummer ever since.
