Michael White[1] (born March 25, ) is an American professional footballquarterback for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the South Florida Bulls and the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. White was selected in the fifth round of the NFL draft by the Dallas Cowboys, where he spent one season, before joining the New York Jets the following year. A backup during his first three seasons, White did not see any playing time until in relief of injured starter Zach Wilson. He later replaced Wilson as the starter near the end of the season before being sidelined by injuries himself. White has also played as a backup for the Miami Dolphins.

[edit]White attended NSU University School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He did not become a starter at quarterback until his senior season, passing for 2, yards, 22 touchdowns and two intercept

James Michael White (born August 11, ) is an American college football coach and former professional player. He served as head football coach at Albany State University (ASU) in Albany, Georgia from to and Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina from to White played college football as a defensive tackle at Albany State during the late s, and later was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth round of the NFL draft. He also played for the Seattle Seahawks.
Coaching career
[edit]After his playing career ended, White joined the coaching staff at his alma mater in as the defensive line coach, and was promoted to defensive coordinator in In , White became the assistant head coach, and in , was named head coach of the Albany State Golden Rams. He continued to serve as the defensive coordinator while he was head coach. His Albany State team was named SBN Black College
