    On every course you do nowadays, BMQ, SQ, DP1, JLC, CAP, Phase, whatever your flavour is, you will have to write an autobiography with criteria dictated from the course staff. Usually it's just a personal history with reasons why you joined, and what you plan to do with your career. ANd yes, your course staff will read (they're actually quite amusing). It's to give the staff an idea of who they are teaching and who to look out for. If someone has had a troubled past for whatever reason, they may have to be watched a little more carefully then others. Your autobiographies should be placed in your course files. At the end of your course when you sign your course report, have a look through your file, and you should find it on the left hand side near the bottom of the stack.
