Willa Mann
Willa Mann passed away on April 30, 2022, after a two year battle with Cystic Fibrosis. She was 80 years old.
Willa was born and raised in San Francisco, California, a place that nurtured her love for ballet, classical music and art. San Francisco is also where she met her husband of 55 years, Thomas, and where they had two daughters, Kari and Wendy. Willa and her family moved to Southern California in 1974 and to Santa Barbara in 2003.
After working various jobs while raising their daughters, Willa’s thirst for knowledge pushed her back into school at age 52. At age 58 Willa had earned her Masters in Geography and started part time teaching at Long Beach State. She also taught online at Columbia college in Missouri.
Willa had a love for learning but nothing gave her more joy than her grandchildren. She loved hearing about everything they were interested in and was their biggest cheerleader. Willa was also an animal lover and an avid reader. She was known to read out

Jon P. Kaufmann Sr.
Jon P. Kaufmann Sr., age 77, of Bellevue, Michigan, passed away peacefully at his home, on June 29, 2023.
Jon was born in Battle Creek, Michigan, on March 31, 1946, to the late Albert and Louise (Phillips) Kaufmann. He graduated from Climax High School. He served his country, serving in the United States Army. Jon was a true entrepreneur. After completing barber school in Hamtramck, MI, he worked in several barbershops in the Battle Creek area before returning to his hometown of Climax opening his own, The Climax Barber Shop. Jon then changed career paths, investing and working with what would become his family’s company to this day, Fun Services. Something he took great pride in, building a successful business with family, and wonderful employees that became a second family to him. He would often säga “It takes all of us”.

Wendy Ross Kaufman received her BS in apparel design in 1985. Since then she has been furiously costuming, making fashion shows, and working on all things textile. She is currently Resident Costumer at Berkeley Playhouse.
